About Anna M. Popke, CFP®:
A New York native, Anna understood complex finance at an early age. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from
Boston University with dual Bachelors degrees in both Economics and Aerospace Engineering, she
demonstrated her inherent abilities by counseling co-workers, family and friends on their financial
decisions and investment choices.
While working towards her undergraduate degrees, she began her foray into investment real estate
and small business financial counseling. Anna honed her strong analytical and communication skills
as a lead designer for Boeing's Phantom Works Division, which was interesting but not fulfilling. She
decided to turn her talent for finance into a full time profession. For several years, Anna developed
her financial planning expertise as a Staff Planner and the Chief Compliance Officer at an independent
financial planning firm in San Diego, California. During her time in Southern California, Anna earned
her Certified Financial Planner™ designation and a Masters degree in Financial & Tax Planning
from San Diego State University. In 2004, Anna moved to Northern Arkansas and founded Majestic
Oak Financial. Aside from assisting clients in preserving and growing their hard-earned assets,
she stays busy raising three little boys with her husband and teaching non-credit classes on
personal finance at North Arkansas Community College.
